Spyballs are a type of technology invented by Lady Iskra. Sophie Foster receives an unregistered one, much to her friend's surprise. She often uses it to check on her human family undetected. It is later revealed that the spyball was given by the black swan. Spyballs are given by the council, and are handed out very rarely, as the holder of one only needs to say the name of someone to see them.
