The Lambeosaurus was not encountered by Sophie Foster in the Lost Cities, but the species was located in the museum where Fitz Vacker first found her. Sophie used her photographic memory to recite the museum's information about this species after her teacher, Mr. Sweeney, accused her of not paying attention but instead listening to music on her iPod. She used the information card in front of the exhibit with the help of her Photographic Memory.
The Lambeosaurus was nicknamed Lameosaurus by Sophie's senior classmate, Garwin Chang, in Keeper of the Lost Cities.
